Notes when visiting the Sultan Ahmed church

- You will not have to pay for the entrance to this church. Tourists who come here between May and September are advised to enter from the north gate area. And the main gate area only allows Muslims to enter through this gate. 
The Sultan Ahmed Mosque is open daily from 9:00 - 18:00 except Friday noon and 5 prayers if anyone is not a Muslim, it will not be allowed to enter.
- In the summer, visitors will admire the shimmering performances in the church and especially learn about the history here through vivid explanations.
- Before entering the Sultan Ahmed Mosque, everyone must put their shoes in plastic bags and leave them outside. Women entering the church are required to wear headscarves provided at the entrance. It is strictly forbidden to open the flash while taking pictures. 
- To get to this Blue Mosque you can take the tram line to Sultanahmet or take the subway to the city center and then get off a short walk.
